Phoned for some support as really need some help, said remote help would be best in the first instance. The chap who answered said the soonest time I could get a telephone consultation is in 2 and half weeks!

But I can just do a walk in and be seen tomorrow....

Why can't I just get a call back tomorrow

With someone already struggling to seek help you should be making it super easy for them not creating barriers, which has made me feel like you can't help

I have to visit the recovery hub to be screened as I do have a habit of being addicted to opiates.Pharmaceutical opiates, not heroin, crack or any other "street" drugs. The people working there are very nice and don't judge anyone. They may take a few days to get back to you,and once they do,it's not long at all before they get help in place and help you if they can.My lady who I see is really nice, and patient,as well & I really appreciate all the help they've given me so far.
If you have a drug or/& alcohol problem you'd like to get help for,I truly recommend giving the recovery hub a chance. There are groups you can be a part of,online or actual meetings (I assume like AA),or if a prescription for something to help you get "clean" is what you need, talk to them.5 stars for the hub.
