The food is delicious, fourth time I've eaten there. On average £15 a head, but I felt full at the end of my meal, no need for pud.
The Staff are friendly and helpful, especially with my food allergy.
No fancy furnishings, decor and stone floors, but welcomes dogs, which was good for me as I have two. I keep going back so it must be good.
Great after a long walk in the Dales.😃

What a little belter of a village pub, with everything you need for an enjoyable day/night. We’ve had evening meals, Sunday lunch (today), BBQ’s (during the England finals/Summer street party), great drinks (Guinness is SUPERB) all to a fantastic standard, served by warm welcoming staff that makes you want to return time and time again. Weld done The Royal Oak you’ve definitely got the recipe right for customer satisfaction and DOGS are welcome unconditionally

The lady who served us was so lovely and accommodating and the food was brilliant 👏 I had the prawn chilli chorizo salad and salt and peppered calamari, my son had the fish and chips and my daughter had the sausage chips and beans. The outdoor seating area looked fab too 👌 My kids had a quick go at darts too 😬

Lovely little gem of a pub ..food and service were lovely.
I had a huge rack of tasty ribs served with chips and coleslaw .. and so well priced, too .

Little dog friendly pup, large covered smoking area at the front. Sat alongside a main road so would not be great with young kids. We went in the day mid week so it was very quiet, hence the mid scores for atmosphere.

Lovely pub with great food and friendly staff.

We had the burger, steak, and halloumi salad (which they up-sized into a main course for us). Arrived without a long wait and was all delicious. 👌

Had a fabulous roast beef dinner very nice.

Good choice of vegetables come with the dinner in a seperate dish carrots broccoli cauliflower nicely presented.
Friendly welcome and good service
