We have just got home after our hidden street tour. We loved it! Really interesting and our guide Alex, was really knowledgeable. We were also super lucky as we were the only ones booked in at that time today! It's really nice to know how they use the money they make from tickets. They are doing great work! Thank you so much for a great bit of history ?

Excellent, interesting and entertaining tour of the hidden street below Castle Meadow. Ollie was very knowledgeable and very attentive to my father by providing him with a chair at each spot of the tour. Thoroughly recommend, even as a Norwich local.

Brilliant tour of a small space below an unassuming looking former shoe shop. Nyree was an excellent tour guide who really brought the story of Norwich to life. I learnt more in that one hour than I had on all my countless previous visits to Norwich reading stale plaques and information boards. I came away wanting to know more!

Excellent tour and brilliant host who kindly let me in late. Very engaged and worth another visit, so much history and so enthusiastically presented!

A group of us did the Taverns Tour, lead by Holly - she was brilliant - really knows the history of Norwich and really has a sense of humour!
We've walked around the city so many times without realising how much fascinating history there is in every street - would recommend the Shoebox tours to anyone!

Fascinating. A glimpse into the past and a discovery about Norwich's evolution from a 1300s medieval city to the present day. Very informative tour guide. Low ceilings and uneven steps, so be you careful!

Wonderful tour by Max who really brought the place to life. It pretty much covers the history of Norwich, building of the castle & ditch, shoe making, riots, so ideal if you are a visitor to the city.

My partner and I took a trip to the Shoebox Hub on bank holiday Monday to partake in the Hidden street tour that they provide. We were not disappointed.
First visit to the Shoebox was pleased to find out that this social enterprise company caters to many areas of the Norwich community whilst also offering informative and fun tours of Norwich.
The Hidden Street tour was wonderful and our guide was fun and informative. It's a short tour (about an hour) with a bit of walking but nothing too difficult. There are a lot of stairs and turns (and a some uneven paving) so if you are OK on your feet you should be fine to undertake this tour.
The information provided was wonderful and looking at different levels of Norwich a true experience - and well worth the cost.
Most certainly worth a visit and we will be back to try one of their other tours in the very near future.
