A 12 step recovery centre. Loads of various meetings in the ❤️ of London. Good place and easy to find for visitors from far off lands.
What's not to like? Fellowship, recovery talk, even coffee, tea and biscuits at most meetings. And steps. Can't forget the steps 😁.
Well, I could forget them but then I'd forget me. Then I'd be writing reviews of bad pubs... if I could type. 🥴😱

A great place for 12 step groups to meet. Fair play to the owners

Attended an ACA meeting. The facilitator was cold as ice, did nothing to make me feel welcome & she rattled through the meeting in a robotic manner. I believe the 12 STEP movement is cult-adjacent. Full of dogma & ways to make you feel bad about yourself so that you have to keep "working the program". In the sharing I did not hear "recovery", I heard a lot of broken people beating themselves up.. The 12 STEP movement is very good at making you feel "sick" unfortunately. Therapy is the appropriate place to work through these issues. Also the venue is not Disability friendly, a very steep narrow staircase, no lift.

Superb meeting venue in a lovely building with even lovelier people.
A warm welcome whether it's morning sunrise or an early evening meeting.
Lots of different meetings and this has become my new home group.

What’s not to like? Recovery meetings all day long. Not a single day or time of the week where you need to go without. Right in the centre of buzzing Soho. Coffee or a meal with fellows, theatres, shopping, and more, all right next door. 😀👍🙏

This is a centre for family members or children or family of alcoholics or dysfunctional families. I've been going for 3 months & been given so much support & made so many friends. It has literally saved my life & thank you. No judgement just peace & understanding from my new family.
