Stuart Low Trust is a very friendly charity. All volunteers and staff are very dedicated and nice. The trust organises Friday evenings entertainment providing free sandwiches and drinks. Also weekend courses are of very high quality conducted by qualified and friendly professionals. Trust organises visits to galleries and nature walks. The trust is a great asset in the community and should be sponsored more

Its difficult to describe the quality of the experience at SLT, I was a bit hesitant to join at first, self conscious and sceptical but there is quite a unique mixture of practical help; presentations /talks & sensitivity/awareness. There is a range of activities, ive enjoyed the art workshops very much but i do enjoy the Friday evening events and its helpful to recieve mindfulness exercises that always seem to arrive at the right time. A very supportive safe space

This is such a great organisation that helps people like me who are isolated due to mental health problems. They have an impressive range of activities to suit all interests. Staff are very friendly and make you feel at ease.

Belonged since 2007 but feel I was abandoned and SLT never reached out to me post Covid. I had to revive the affiliation.
I run a group for seniors so look for free activities which are indeed taken up by a few.
Recently joined gentle exercise online and it was fabulous. I don't agree that I should show my face "as though it's face to face". It isn't and no other Zoomies dictate such an imposition. I know only two other seniors who use Zoom.

The better weather will encourage outside activities for seniors as in septuagenarians.
Bravo SLT

I've always found the SLT events enjoyable. A wide range of activities are provided and they are well organised. I prefer face to face ones because of my hearing loss. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The venues comfortable and safe. And other participants also enjoy the events.. The website portal adds a dimension for putting artwork and poetry online. What the SLT does is unique and invaluable for people's wellbeing and social engagement.
