I would totally recommend Samsang's creative workshops to anyone. Don't be afraid - You may think you can only produce a stick drawing now but Sam will coax out your creative side and you will be amazed at what you can produce.

Easy to follow pace, all materials provided and Colgate Hall is a lovely intimate and perfect venue to start or continue your artistic journey. Sam is a great teacher, she explains things in a variety of ways, i.e. if you don't get it first time she will approach it a different way. She is fun, lively and extremely positive and encouraging.

I thought I would attend the 3 workshops and probably leave it at that! However I am loving how it's reignited my love of colour, creating and the total absorption I feel when I'm doing it.

I have already booked on to a March workshop and I look forward to seeing what I produce over the coming months.

Just done a weekend retreat with Sam and have already booked another! Its fabulous! A safe relaxed environment where you are encouraged gently to find your own creativity. There is no pressure just a great friendly atmosphere to learn with like minded people techniques to enhance your interest in art. Sam is a great artist, very encouraging, extremely knowledgeable and you’ll always have a giggle!! Loved it!

I have to say that I haven't enjoyed myself so much in ages. A weekend of pure joy with a fun loving group all allowing ourselves to let go of worldly problems for a time. Sam was kindness itself and encouraged us to gently throw ourselves into
our final project. These were magical home made concertina books of our artwork/collages produced with 3 coloured inks, feather quills, a stick and other natural sources. All tied up with a bow and hard backed, a wonderful memento of our happy weekend together with Samsang.
PS. A big thank you to Sam's mum who baked us delicious scones and sausage rolls. I will definitely be going to the next weekend to be held in November!

I did a series of 3 courses with Samsang and was so happy, even proud of the work I produced. Learning to let creativity out has been really important to me and I will continue to hone my artistic skills. I'll be back for another session sometime for sure! 💖

I went along with the hope of improving my art skills as I’d like to be more creative, but with little confidence in my ability to draw. I hadn’t realised how many ways there are to improve drawing, it isn’t just an innate skill it seems. I came away with a very passable drawing of a complex subject and bags more confidence! The people in the group were lovely, as was the teacher Sam, friendly and funny, practical and encouraging, I highly recommend.

Samsang provides a wonderful atmosphere and a 5 star course content which she teaches superbly; this ensures that you can only move in a positive direction in both the art you suddenly find you can produce, and your state of mind. We all live stressful lives and anything that can take you back to a time in your life when a set of crayons, pencils or painting materials meant that you were about to lose yourself in a stress free art class at school.

I came in at the 3rd and final workshop of the 3. However I felt I could join in quite easily and get into the swing of it with Samsangs encouragement and enthusiasm. A lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.

I had found the prospect of finding a creative, reliable, website designer daunting, especially when we wouldn't be meeting in person. But Samsung and The T Shed were an answer to my prayer!
Whatever I require, Samsang produces - she really is a talented, original artist. She also responds promptly and keeps to deadlines. Also the tuition means I'm being helped to help myself.
I can highly recommend The T Shed and look forward to future updating.
