Another wonderful landmark trust property. Small but perfectly formed with amazing views over the fields to Kimbolton castle. Some people have said the track to the property was a bit rough but I have a small car and found it fine. Maybe it’s been patched up.

Historic building as are all in the Landmark Trust in great location...when you find it. We would recommend a higher wheel based car especially if it has recently rained as the track is muddy and fitted in places. The padlocked gate bar needs to be lifted on/off it's post which is quite heavy but then it swings easily.

If you want remote..this is it! Total peace and quiet, stunning views, beautiful local villages, very splendid!
So dark at night you can't see your hand in front of your face!
Excellent facilities at the property, comfortable, spacious for a couple, nice not to have a telly and have the usual convo about what rubbish is on the box tonight.
If you need to relax, wind down or generally escape the rat race, family or anyone really come here and breathe.

This was a game keepers cottage and during World War 2 my grandfather was a clerk of works at the USAAF base at Kimbolton which was next door and lived in the Warren with my nan and my father and his brother. They lived there until then the late 40s. I now drive past every day to go to work and always look up the hill at it. Last time I walked up there it was abandoned and fenced off. So pleased it is back in used thanks to the Landmark trust.
