As a regular user of the services at this practice I have nothing but praise for the service I have received. Whilst appointments are limited the response from reception and medical staff has been excellent. Calls are triaged and a response is received within an acceptable time frame - if urgent very quickly. As individuals I find all the staff responsive, attentive and compassionate.

The practice does not operate during bank holidays ?.... but I am afraid illness does as we all know.
Very poor service and care demonstrated here.
This obviously puts more pressure on hospital services as I have had to experience. The Practice seems to be a contributor to the pressures put on hospitals. Probably one of many ?
The practice seems to be manned/womaned by part time GP’s which also does not help the situation. Very Poor Service and I would aim to look elsewhere.
Such a shame as it was always the best GP’s surgery in Thirsk.

I once had no criticism of this practice but since Covid I have yet to see my Gp who has absolutely no idea whatsoever of my circumstances.
As this is a public posting I will not go in to details
Meanwhile I have now run out of medication for my blood pressure and cannot access the pharmacy till next Tuesday
I read about overworked GP s but it is sad state of affairs.
Some parts of the NHS are brilliant some parts are not !

My second time here one and the receptionist is off until next week. In a bid to find out where the doctor was, I made attempts to ask some. However, although there are an abundance of medical professionals - who cannot help (nor do they make an attempt).

Rude reception staff, second rate (part time) doctors & a practice manager that couldn't manage a tea party! Avoid, steer clear at all costs!
