Lovely surroundings and atmosphere. The staff were friendly. We ordered the vegetable quiche which was tasty but accompanied by a poor salad. Compared to the amount and presentation of the meals we had last year this years standard has fallen short. For the price we paid we would like a little more imagination. Cakes were lovely.

A real shame that this lovely little spot has a serious lack of understanding of allergens that could end in hospitalisation or worse. Please educate your staff. The waitress with red hair was also adamant that eggs are dairy and argued this with me. Hair nets for anyone that prepares or serves food would also be a consideration. Additionally, I was informed there was a baby change in the outside toilet block. There wasn't so I had to change my baby on one of the tables. Not a problem for me but not very hygienic for the cafe.

Just been today. There was a fantastic array of cakes and the Rhubarb and Hazlenut and Courgette and Lime cakes were both delicious. Lovely staff as well.
