The gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit. You can go on a guided tour of the house, but no photos as the owners still live there. Parking is located by the garden and cafe, which do some lovely cakes.

They do have some disabled spots, with some of the other parking area being uneven, for those with accessibility issues. Nothing more than you'd normally see. House tour involves one flight of stairs, but they do offer seating in every room for those that need.

Stunning extensive walled garden planted with gorgeous varieties of blooms including dahlias, cosmos, sunflowers, herbs, squashes and pumpkins. Charming doorways and arches through to separate rose garden, lawns, pond and a delightful walk to a third garden. All surrounded by gorgeous views. Parking and teashop selling home made cakes, ice creams and drinks with gluten free and vegan options.

A sort of secret place to visit in Kent with lots of historical figures who were heavily influential in the last 4 years of British history. Beautiful garden and nice and fancy tea room!

Titsey gardens are small but in a beautifully kept and worth a visit. The walled garden is especially pretty. The garden is in a beautiful setting at the foot of the North Downs. You can do circular estate walks up on to the downs with lovely views also. I haven't done a tour of the house for some years but I remember it being interesting. The tea room is excellent with delicious home made cakes. I lovely place to spend a couple of hours.

The main reason I rate the estate low is what they have done to the countryside and woods. It is a total & utter disgrace. Large trucks have ploughed through and the only way I can describe it is deforestation or wantom damage. There doesn't seem to be any logic to the sheer amount of trees felled. It really feels like following a tank track in a war zone, with gigantic tyres imprint in the mud and branches and trunks everywhere. The woods are now mostly desolate and really sad and it is going to take years for this to heal. I first saw it in that state nearly a year ago and it hasn't improved much since.
The House & gardens themselves are nice and I enjoyed the tour. The Tea Room has the nicest ladies possible, though I found waiting times to vary immensely and once waited 50min for a sandwich.

Titsey Place in Oxted, Surrey is an impressive Tudor manor house with beautiful gardens, including the walled kitchen gardens, landscaped lakes, and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Rose Garden set in the stunning countryside of the North Downs.

You can do a very pleasant woodland walks in the Titsey Plantation and High Chart there.

The estate is well looked after by charitable trust.

Lots of benches everywhere to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

The guided tour is available for you to learn about history of the ownership which dates back to 16th century.

Lovely tea rooms with sittings outside on a hot day and good celection of food and drinks.

Good size car park.

Interesting house and garden part Heritage Houses and you have to pay unless a member to go into the main garden or visit the house both of which are only open on Wednesday and at weekends from May until September (check opening times before you visit). There is a walled garden and Victorian kitchen garden which are very interesting. The small cafeteria which you can use without going into the main garden gets very busy and can get very hot in the main conservatory seating area and the queue for tea or some of their delicious cakes can be lengthy. Toilets too are available and clean. It makes a good base to start one of their circular walks of varying lengths.

This is a great garden that’s worth the effort of planning to visit the few days it’s open! The walled garden and shrub borders are lovely
