Would give zero stars if that was an option. Horrible organisation. Uncaring staff. Awful treatment of vulnerable tenants. Leaving my family in a dangerous and abusive situation for over 5 years despite police, social services, drs and school advising them to move us. Charging me rent when the property isn't safe or ready to move into. Refusing to acknowledge broken boiler, mold, dust 3 inch thick and cat fur which aggravated my chronic asthma (resulting in me needing steroids) glass, nuts and bolts and wood left strewn all over the place and strong smell of methane coming from an old box on the wall full of dust and potentially a dead animal, left previous tenants household rubbish stinking in blue bin and still refuse to move. Countless jobs not getting done, get ignored every day constantly reporting them. Property still not safe to move in to and nothing getting done about it and still getting charged.
Absolute disgrace. I am extremely let down. Torus should be ashamed.

Seriously horrendous experience as a torus tenant, for over a year ive been experiencing anti social behaviour issues that have significantly effected my health, have provided doctors evidence to support this, yet torus do nothing? I tell them I'm thinking of ending my own life because I'm in such despair with the whole situation they still do nothing? I've reported the the housing ombudsmen and considering legal action against them for not providing a duty of care to a long term tenant.

Torus don't care at all about their tenants complaints, they are happy to let you suffer for years, they only care about the privately owned neighbours complaints, mainly because they are scared of getting legal action taken against them.

Moved into our rent to buy property in March and had no end of issues. Have been told by the builder that the issues I reported to Torus weeks ago have not been raised at all. Keep being promised calls back from Torus which never happen. Only when I threatened to complain did I get a call back (within 5 minutes) from another lady who told me she would look into it and asked me to call her back in two days. When I called her back two days later I was told she “didn’t know who I’d been speaking to but they haven’t raised any jobs” Funny that as it’s always been the same department I’ve dealt with and why did she not raise the jobs two days prior if she could see it hadn’t been done? Having spoken with my neighbours it seems they’re all saying the same thing and are being ignored. I am constantly being fobbed off and will now look to seek further advice.

Bought a house from Torus.
First time in the shower and it leaked.
Many other jobs needed finishing.
After bewr a year I still await completion.
Torus customer care and nothing but liars and con people into false dates for work to commence.
TORUS has to be the worst housing association in the land.
I've started legal proceedings against them

Depending on your situation and your reason for visiting the office can be a long process would be better to phone & make a appointment if your issue can’t be resolved over the phone

It took 3 years to get my door entry system fixed, lost parcels and prescriptions and all kinds of post due to it and had to start getting all my post and deliveries sent to my Dad’s house. Neighbours getting hostile with me as well, because they thought I was just ignoring the door!
No communication. Housing officers are appalling… that’s if you can even have the same one for more than six months.
Feel like you’re shouting into the void trying to speak to anyone.
My flat has damp and mould that has never been fixed, a relative had to come and fix things for me as they just won’t get anything done.

Currently having trouble with the upstairs neighbours regarding noise. I can hear them going to the toilet and I’m too scared to give private details over a phone call, incase I’m over heard as the ones upstairs I can hear every word they say.
You could hear an ant fart up there and they say it’s ’normal living noise.’ Unbearable and when you complain, they just tell you to ‘move.’ Just to get rid of you. No duty of care whatsoever. I’d honestly live on the street before I moved into another Torus property. And I’d say the same for anyone else considering them… just don’t.
