I made a visit to this place earlier today for the first time with my mum and I was astonished how many vehicles were stored. We had a brilliant tour around from a kind young man working at the museum. I was very interested in ex- manchester vehicles such as atlanteans, olympians, fleetlines, metrobuses etc as well as other similar looking northern counties atlanteans from Blackpool, other Gardner engined olympians ecw, roe. We were shown vehicles in restoration stages. Exciting news that even more buses, again mostly ex manchester ones will also be coming in the near future for their turn to be restored. The blue ex gm fleetline looked really nice as well as the ex gm alloy atlantean in cream, green and red livery. Was told that ex gm olympian 3225 may go in Accrington livery which I think will look amazing, mainly because of its ncme style bodywork. I would defo visit again.

A very interesting array of vehicles.
As it is only a storage location and not a museum, visits are by appointment only.
