I booked a foraging workshop in the Purwell area, led by Jane Simmons. It was a delightful morning, really well organised and great value for money. Jane is fun, very knowledgable and truly passionate about foraging. Loved it and will be booking more 🙂

Beautiful place. A small rural retreat in a bustling town.

Feels like people don't look after it so much anymore and it's lacking what it used to. It's overgrown and messy. Also doesn't help that loads of teenagers hangout here and do nothing but litter and ruin the place especially during the lockdowns - police could have made loads of money fining them all hanging out when they shouldn't have been

Small car park, but a lovely chilled place with a small stream, a tidy wide open space, football pitch and a play area for the kids.

Nice playground. However, there is a bicycle pathway and it can be quite busy at certain times. The parking in for four cars.

Last week I visited the community garden and the experience was fantastic. Some people spread out snow drops which looked great but I spread bark across the trail so people who walk across do not get muddy. Would recommend if you like physical jobs and nature.
