I've done four cruises this year on both Leader and Golden Vanity and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Wonderful experience sailing these boats, both over 100 years old, to understand the task the Brixham fishermen had, going to sea in all conditions to earn a living. So different from the sailing I'm used to in modern sailing cruisers. Also, great company, excellent food and fascinating destinations to round off memorable trips under the guidance of a very professional crew. I thoroughly recommend it for sailors and non-sailors, young and old.

I had a fantastic 5 night trip on Provident in July 2017. We were more adventurous than I expected, crossing the channel to Guernsey and Sark. The crew, Dave, Harri, Eli and Enya were excellent: friendly, competent and a good team. My favourite moment of the trip was being at the helm as we rounded Berry Head into Torbay - not something I could have imagined doing at the start of the trip.

Most incredible experience on a day-sail on Leader. Trinity not only preserve these historic vessels but also run courses for disadvantaged youngsters, making a huge difference for them. Top experience with a very professional crew.

Awful we were in the forward berths 5ladies and 2 men the forward births and the salon leak water from the above deck.
The water wet all of our bedding so we all had to try and sleep in wet bunks!!!
The water ran along the floors off the cabin and into the salon where you had to sit on wet cusions to eat your food because the salon roof leak like a sive as well.
The floors were covered in about 5mm of sea water and the crew had to put down lots of towels to try and mop up the water.
All this was caused by just spray coming over the side of the boat, I cannot imagine what would it would have been like in a really heavy sea.
This boat the Provident is not fit for purpose and .is very expensive for such a horrible experience.
On my return I did email them about these problems but as of today 8days later I have not had a reply to my complaints and I doubt I ever will.
Give this company a wide berth unless you like sleeping in cold wet bedding..

My trip was on the 8th to the 14 September 2018.
