NHS is doing wonders here! Two visits in one month and both times we were seen within ten minutes of entering the zones we needed to be in and then examined and left with clear explanation of our diagnosis and sent home within the hour! Excellent service. Only gripe the car park and charges £2.50 just under an hour!!! İn the past there used to be a half hour free period, we lost that shame!

I have just had a week in this hospital and am very impressed with every aspect of the care I received. I was in the Intensive Care Unit within 24hrs of arrival at A&E and feel the speed of my recovery from a chest infection was due to the excellent diagnosis and treatment I got .The doctors were friendly and helpful and all the nurses were amazing and even the meals were good !

Arrived at 12.20 left at 5.30. a long day spent in AEC but everyone was very attentive, suspected clot in my leg. Bloods ultrasound. I really couldn't fault it. Long wait, 2.5hours for blood results and over an hour for prescription, but hey, where else in the world would you get such good service. One star short because it could have been a bit quicker.

I had my daughter born in this hospital and I had a bad experience.
First on my arrival to have a check-up they forgot me; their excuse was that the shift was changing.
After the midwife checked me up she said to me very rudely if I wanted to go home and wait until my baby decided to come out or if I should be induced. I was already more than a week overdue.
Decided to be induced and stayed in the hospital overnight.
When it was time to go into labour, I could hardly walk because of the pain, they didn't offer me a wheelchair, so I had to walk to the delivery room in my tears.
After my daughter arrived, I didn’t get any support or help from nurseries, they were always busy. I had stitches and was painful to get up from bed or walk…
But they were not busy sitting on the sofa and holding other women’s babies. I asked to be realised home, but answer was who will help you at home. I had my mum around which doesn’t have driving licence and couldn’t come every day. Or my partner was tired because he didn’t have where to rest everyday he has to drive 15miles each way.
Also, I was forced to breastfeed by nurses. If I knew that I will struggle I would never say I will breastfeed my baby.
Everything else was pretty good, mainly not happy about some nurses and doctors…

My second baby was born at Pembury hospital this summer and not only were the midwives on the day amazing but also all the appointments and workshops leading up to his birth were positive. They all ran to time and the staff were very professional and kind. The facilities were great, the room I had on the delivery floor was big, well equipped and clean. My husband even had a bed bought in to sleep in too.

We were seen at children’s A&E yesterday and again today by the loveliest doctor - Monty. He went out of his way to ensure my son was well looked after throughout, ensuring a plan put in place for ongoing appointments and showing genuine care for my sons discomfort. The department was busy but at no point did we feel rushed or forgotten about. Thank you

My 2.5 yo daughter had to have blood drawn for the allergy tests. We previously went to a private hospital in Greenwich and they just couldn't get it right twice even with pain relief, in the end saying sample size wasn't big enough. We went through NHS here and they've managed to get a good sample within 10 seconds without any pain relief and my daughter hasn't even noticed. Cherry on top- she was given a little book and pencils as a present.

This is the NHS to be proud of, thank you guys.

The A&E staff and doctors were super friendly and welcoming. We were there for quite some time but every 20 minutes or so, we were seen by a doctor or nurse, definitely thorough with their checks. Highly recommend if you have an emergency.
