I had come to accept that damaged hearing was something I would need to live with, simply because it was just partial loss.
Then I met Veterans Hearing UK at a show, when they said they could help.
I must stress, because of the funding process, PATIENCE is key, but it's worth the journey.
You will find ALL the staff, very knowledgeable, polite and very reassuring.
You will find they will make every effort to find the right aid to suit your needs.
If you're hesitating, get in touch with them. You will not be disappointed with the result.

I met members of this organisation while at the Weston Super Mare Air Show. They told me about how they might be able to help me as an RAF veteran. I am going through the processes at the moment but I can say that they are efficient and if your were in the forces and may be your hearing problems are as a result of that then do get in touch with them. You can only gain from the experience. Thank you to all of the staff for being there to support the veterans.

I started the process in early 2018 when Vickie visited our branch companionship group. About 6 of us filled in the paperwork and most thought it was typical Gov, plenty of forms and then nothing. WRONG.
It took time and then I visited H4H in Rothwell at the appointed time. Tyler was 1st class. Sorted the tests and told me what I would be getting. Top of the range aids and able to adjust them on a phone ap.
When they arrived it was explained in detail how use them and a follow appointment made. All in all the only way to describe H4H is top class with staff who know their job and care about their clients.
Keep up the good work. Thank you Vickie and Tyler.

Very helpful and supportive organisation. Diagnosed my hearing issues, supported the successful application for British Legion to pay for my top class aids under their veterans scheme and now provide post fitting support.
