Just spent 11 days in Ayr Hospital and can't praise the staff enough for their expertise over all aspects. Surgery was first class, care and attention in both Critical Care A and Station 2. There are a few staff who went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible but in general, all staff were kind and caring. Thank you all

I visited the Ballochmyle suite on 29th January as an outpatient for an appointment I waited nearly 2 years for and I would just like to say it's probably the most thorough examination I have had in a long time. The nurses and consultant was lovely they explained what they were doing and why and I came away feeling that I didn't have to worry anymore due to how I was treated. I also noted that they seamed a great bunch and definitely worked as a team!
Thanks to everyone that put me at ease, you are a fab team.

I'm writing a review on behalf of my mum. She is an older lady and not quite sure about reviews or the Internet etc, or in her own words, she's not used to all this 'new fangled stuff' 😄 . She went into hospital last Sunday for a procedure to have a gallstone removed from her bile duct. Her name is Ethel, and she'd like to thank all the nurses and Dr's from station 4 and station 2 for taking such good care of her before, during, and after her operation, she'd like to thank her surgeon - Mr Amir Hussain for removing that horrible, large stone and making her feel better, she'd like to thank the anaesthetists, and just all staff at Ayr hospital who helped her and made her stay there comfortable. She'd also like to thank the paramedics and patient ambulance for bringing her home. I would also like to say a personal thankyou to all of the brilliant NHS staff for taking such good care of my mum and making her better. Thanks so much again.
Ethel & Mhairi.

When I hospital their the staff on the ward seemed professional but when I got my ward reports I found that the staff had put false information on them , and missed out a procedure, If they hadn’t lied about that . Also from the operation I had I am now in more pain than before and feel abandoned by them it seems that if the operation is a success they gloat andif they cause more damage they abandoned you They promised to keep in touch but I have no confidence in them seeing that they have not been in touch for over 6 months and they done the same job on my wife we both got infections we were both told that the chance of infection was 1000-1

I am originally from Blackpool and trust me this hospital is 10 times better than the hospital in Blackpool.
Every employee who i met was so kind.
