Visited women outpatients this morning and met with the most amazing team of staff. The doctor put me at ease immediately and whilst having biopsies I was offered the opportunity of watching the procedure on the screen which made the whole experience very inclusive. The nurse and doctor talked me through everything and the atmosphere was relaxing and warm. I have never had such a positive experience in a hospital and I’ve had procedures done privately in the past. The approach of this team is informative, friendly, inclusive and supportive. Every hospital needs to adopt this ethos for patient care. Marvellous team, thank you so much.

I had my first MRI appointment and everyone working at that unit were very lovely and caring ,the stress of the procedure was long gone because of the atmosphere created by the team. Thank you so much ♡

Appointment for my dad at TIA clinic. The staff on reception were so lovely with all the patients and so patient with them too. The nurse/ hca also was so friendly and considerate with her patients.
Dr Whitehouse consultant was very through and her 'bedside manner' was wonderful. Explained everything in detail and was not rushed at all.
Wonderful to see we do still get it right in our glorious NHS

Hospital is well sign posted throughout, though there are lots of friendly staff around to help find your way around the hospital if you get lost. The hospital has a café (Wilbers Café) which sells a wide variety of hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes. Ample hospital parking is available, free for 20 mins otherwise tariffs apply. (valid as of September 2018) There is no A&E department.

Friendly staff very attentive and reassuring, the only drawback is that the outpatient department doesn't open until 9AM and when attending departments near it the walk from the car park to the main entrance is a long distance for disabled people who are parked in the nearby disabled bay's.

Clean, spacious, one of the few hospitals where car parking is good ( helpful when travelling over 40 miles to get there). Very clean WRVS cafe with excellent staff.
Superb staff in CT scanner, Friday 03.03.23 at 14.30
Excellent overall experience, health issue excluded!
