Avoid at all costs. Booked this venue a few months ago for a joint 6th birthday party. Having been told to arrive at 2:30 to receive the keys, we arrived at around 2:15 and waited. It got to 2:45 and still no keys. At this point, the caterer had arrived with food that had to be stacked up outside. The bouncy castle man was left waiting and was made late for another job, and parents were starting to arrive with their children. We called the lady in question, and her phone was off. It was only by chance that we saw a contact number printed on the door. Had we not used our initiative to call, nobody would have come. We called and were told that someone would arrive with the keys. This took a further 10 minutes, and when he did arrive, we were met with a very grumpy and rude man who did not apologise. Luckily, there were enough adults to set up. We were then told by the man that we hadn't booked the big hall and we were to use the small one. To this, we showed him the email with our booking of the big hall that we had paid for. He then opened the shutters that divided the halls and promptly left. Fast forward to the end of the party, and everything was left just as we found it. We then received an email from the lady who originally was meant to drop the keys off to us to inform us that we would not be getting our £100 deposit back and that we actually owed her money for using a hall that we "didn't" pay for. As explained before, we had it in black and white that we had booked and paid for the big hall. So not only was the party ruined by lateness, it was ruined by lying money grabbers who like to rip people off. Very disappointed for our children that had to wait around for their party and ourselves, who had worked so hard to make sure everything would be perfect for them. Not to mention embarrassed at having to greet parents and their children at a half-set up hall. Ill be taking this unjust behaviour further.

Great place to hire and enjoy the big halls that have been standing there for years, with the church next door and 2/1 large hall/s, you can enjoy having birthday parties or family gatherings.

Nice large well priced hall for hire. There is also a lovely playschool run from here during the week
