I lived in vaughan house on and off from its refit date in 1993 and I think again in 2007,,the staff over the years have been exemplary and all are very professional and offer professional help,,there are those that are helped in off the street and deeply appreciate the sheltered accommodation like myself and those that cause utter chaos,,those are the people that cause a great organisation like this great harm and cause mayhem for the staff,,but having said that,,the staff always over come everything thrown their way in a very professional manner,,unfortunately whilst again finding myself back in the safety of vaughan house some of the other residents did something and accused me of the wrong doing ,I think I'd rubbed some other residents up the wrong way,,so I was accused and promptly dealt with,,to this day I know I didn't do what I was accused of,,but on this occasion unfortunately for me it fell on deaf ears,,,the staff wouldn't listen so I was forced to leave,,,this happens and despite helping out staff with decorating and also protecting staff members from violence this time no matter what I said,I was forced to leave,,but on the whole,back when I lived there there was a chef who cooked all the meals and the food was fantastic ,,All the staff were very professional and understanding and there are or were meetings held for alcohol addictions and drug addictions also ,,so if you are fortunate enough to get a room in vaughan house consider yourself very fortunate,,they are the very best people at what they do and as long as you do your part and play by the very few rules you will receive all the help you could possibly want,,,JUST WANT TO SAY to All. Staff at vaughan house thankyou from the bottom of my heart in in the help and care you provided to me from the 1993 opening untill my final visit in 2007,,you are truly fantastic and I will be eternally grateful to you all, from Robert Arthur aka Bo
