Lovely welcoming place. Lots of things for the general public to get involved in, art classes, craft, and Rossendale Men's sheds do woodwork there on a Friday. Always brews and cakes on offer, they also have a relaxing lounge with a TV and a gift shop that sells things made at the centre.

Lovely, caring people. I started going to support my dad with the art classes and was welcomed as a friend. Darren is amazingly talented and has the kindest heart. He kept everyone going through lockdown so no one felt isolated.

From day 1 I was made to feel very welcome, everyone, veteran or not is very friendly and approachable. I go for the art but I spend most of my time chatting away to staff and members alike. After a rough 2021 Veterans in the community have helped restore my faith in people. And given me a great environment to persue my new found love of art, as well as the options for other activities held at the center. I always look forward to going and can't thank them enough for being there for me.

VIC is a community based organisation catering for anybody who has served in uniform. The membership will have served In the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Airforce, Police, Fire service, French Foreign Legion, Irish Defence Forces etc. The leaders of the organisation are more than willing to help in a very caring way. No problem is to big for the staff to handle. I have personal experience of interfacing with the staff on several occasions down through the years and the help I was given was exceptional. If you are in distress, need help of any kind please contact VIC. This will be your first port of call so to speak.

The VIC is such a welcoming place. I have attended arts & crafts there and found it to be very enjoyable and relaxing . You do not have to be a Veteran to go there and I was referred by the CMS NHS and I am so glad they did!
