From the first form of contact Veterans into Logistics were friendly and helpful.

As an ex servicewoman I had the licences but no civilian experience , Veterans into Logistics provided me with 2 days of HGV Class 1 refresher training. This was just great from the start , the team have such a great working environment which helped me to settle on arrival.
I was provided with educational aids and practical experience from the fountains of knowledge instructors.

The only thought I have now , is why didn’t I do it sooner 🙂 ! Absolute respect to the organisation.

Fantastic company that funded me as a veteran to get my HGV licence. They sorted out my inital medical, access to theory practise websites, my theory and hazard perception test, my practical driver training and my final practical HGV driving test. Massive heartfelt thanks to Darren and his team, including Simon my instructor, Ellen, Alan, Brian, Harley and all the other unsung heroes that have made this achievement possible. Prior to this I could only get minium wage jobs, now, these guys have opened up the doors to better myself and get better job prospects. Thank you Darren for setting this company up mucka, your a star 👊. Time to get myself a Yorkie bar I think 😁

Honorable company, and Beautiful People, this charity is formed to helps military personnel after spending decades of their lives serving the country into a civilian life, very genuine people, couldn't do enough to help you, sorting any problems or answering any questions you may have.
There is Harley, she will go out of her way to help anybody, she will organise your schedule, with your circumstances in mind.
My instructor Craig, did my reversing training, with his clear instructions, tips, and reference points, help me pass my reverse first time, bear in mind I've never set in an articulated HGV prior to seeing him, and then there is my forward driving instructor.
Alan Smith, so experienced with a lot of knowledge, he is very meticulous and precise with his instructions, I passed my class 1
first time with just one minor point, and he doesn't explain things so you just pass your test, he explains things so you'll be safe and professional driver on the road. And all that done within five days.
I put 5 star rating only because there isn't any higher rating than that.
So if you don't want to waste your time and money join the veterans (VIL), you will not regret it and that is promise.

first things first. i was unable to take my course and test via the company but this was all done to my own circumstances. The 5* rating is for first class communication, service and professionalism. As training companies go i would highly recommend the company. Ex service personnel and non service personnel, i would urge you to talk to the company before deciding where to train for your driving licenses. If my circumstances change i will be contacting the company again.

It took me 8 days from never having driven a truck before to passing my Class 1 test! Seems like a dauting task when you start (and it is!) but everyone here got me through it all and I cannot thank everyone there enough. I'm not a veteran and was sent by the DWP so, if you are given the opportunity, take it!
