I recently went to the group sessions that your meant to have before therpy. I didn't find it helpful. I feel in order to deal with anxiety and depression you have to deal with the root causes rather than just how to deal with a panic attack. I rang up leaving a message what the issues was and could I just have the therpy which would help me instead. Noone has rang it is very difficult to deal with psychological distress caused by a life threatening illness and to be ignored by people that are meant to help you.
