Lovely business with more than 25 years of experience! That should mean it is very good? Well, it is good. Very good indeed!

Truly delicious fish and chips. I had a large cod and it was so fresh, tasty, thick, lovely.

Chips are, sincerely, cooked to perfection! I am not lying if I say that their chips are the very best chips I have ever had in a Fish bar.
A bit better than my top favourite fish bar in London.

Service was fantastic! Young and cheerful staff. Super happy with the way I was served.

The only thing that called my attention is the price.
Small cod £4.50, Large £7.50 no chips included!
In London for £0.50 more than here I have a great amount of chips included.
I don’t know why but before arriving I thought that prices would be cheaper here…

I believe that for locals, this is their only option so definitely a really good product served here.

Visited for first time tonight and would definitely recommend. Fish was nice, not at all greasy and the regular portion of chips was huge!

We had a fish and chip supper as a treat never again! the fish was over cooked it was chewy the batter was greasy the chips were passable but there was a lot of crunchy bits sorry village chippy we won’t be coming for seconds.

The food was poor quality. We ordered cod and well it was older than tutankhamun himself!! Clearly been in the fryer since monday, I believe boot leather would have been easier to chew. Only thing they got right was the chips as even a burger order was wrong. Just because they are the only chip shop for a fair few miles they think they can just churn out rubbish food. We will not be wasting money there again, should've gone mcdonalds.

Easy access. Car park just round the corner at medic centre. I ordered large fish. Very tasty. Professional service.
Village Fish Bar also became my regular stop on my hikes along River Trent.

Great local chippy, not long moved to the village and I’m so happy that they have a decent chippy, I’ve had a few things their now, fish and chips great, batter not greasy, chips crispy and fluffy, decent kebab, lovely sausage. Staff very friendly. I’ll be very happy with this place

Good chips and decent enough prices but the ketchup they use is probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. Please switch to Heinz or something better than what you have now
