Just finished a 5 night camp here with my Scout troop of 26 young people. The site and the staff have been absolutely fantastic from booking through to delivery of activities and supporting us during our stay.
The site has everything you could ask for, clean and ample washing facilities, challenging and varied activity’s run by professional and considerate instructors who took the time to get to know our scouts during our visit making their experience all the more positive.
Scouts were encouraged to push their limits on activities and all achieved more than they expected.
The staff were always available to support us and we felt nothing was too much trouble for them, despite staying here during a very busy time for them.
In summary I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming activity centre and I very much hope to return in the future. Thanks Walton Firs!

My Cubs have just had a great weekend at Walton Firs! We stayed in Pembroke, which had bunk beds and a well appointed kitchen. The activities were great, especially the crate stacking and above ground caving. The Cubs also enjoyed the nightline and the tree trail. The site is huge and there are lots of little corners to explore, space to play games and huge amounts of room for the children to just enjoy the great outdoors.

Spent a week here for our annual Scout summer camp and it was excellent. We did a variety of activities and all the staff were super helpful, accommodating and great with the kids. Would recommend and we will be coming back.

Walton Firs is an excellent campsite where we spent a week for our 2024 Scout Summer Camp! There was a great range of activities for the children to do - both self and instructed led - as well as great pitches for camping and good toilet and shower facilities. Look forward to returning to Walton Firs in the future and would recommend it to all who want to go!

Overnight trip for two dozen adults. While many other groups across the property were children, we had an excellent time in the pods at Trail's End Camp. The pods are temperature controlled, making for a cozy glamping experience. We recommend bringing your own firewood and arriving before dark so you can get the lay of the land. The staff at Walton Firs were very kind, stress-free, and hands-off. Our group participated in the low ropes and high ropes course, which was led by great staff members. The caterer we worked with was prompt and the food was great. Would recommend.

Spent a magical and exciting day with my church group of 8-11year olds here today. The activities were first class , the instructors were really great in every way, the provision of an outdoor classroom for us was perfect, and the staff were so helpful. The kids loved every moment and would come again tomorrow in a heartbeat. Thank you to all at Walton Firs. Its been my first trip here for several years and its as good as ever!

A gem of a site, greatly accessible in location, at which we have just finished our annual week-long Scout summer camp. The site staff were absolutely brilliant from initial enquiry all the way to our eventual departure from the site; efficiency demonstrated throughout.
The activities are reasonably priced, and well run. The facilities are modern and maintained in a clean condition.
As experienced Scout leaders, we appreciated being left to run our camp independently, however the site staff were available when we required any assistance. This campsite cannot be commended enough and we will doubtless be returning. 6 stars if I could!
