Told to go by my GP to walk in centre, was seen within 10 mins for BP check, 20 mins later called by male doctor. I hadn't had my swab results from another hospital so he rang around and got the correct medication for me. He dressed my wound and had prescription sent to my pharmacy as i
live in another town. I can only say from lady on reception to everyone who helped me, thank you so much.

Went here today as I had blood in my urine and I was quite worried as have had quite a bad virus inc severe sore throat and a massive swollen top lip ? which made me quite concerned I may have been having some type of reaction to the the virus 🦠. I was quite concerned about the bleeding and waited over an hour for triage to be told I’m best going to Skelmersdale as there after waiting an hour would be another 4 hour wait !!!
No Urine samples taken !
I felt like they were trying to get as many as possible to bother other NHS drop in centres and felt quite upset at the way I was dismissed as not being urgent enough !
I have an app with my Gp booked now as they took my concerns seriously as I should not be bleeding at all !
Don’t waste your time and the NHS is finished ! It’s appalling and it’s supposed to fill the gaps where GPs can’t accommodate their patients !!

They cannot test blood at an urgent care unit. It is not fit for purpose and they will send you to An A+E department that will help you. Wasted hours travelling here and my partners condition got worse as a result. Litterally made the situation worse.

Brought mum in this morning.
Saw a lovely Dr. who gave her a thorough checking over. Suggested mum went to Southport A & E as wasn't sure if she had suffered a stroke/TIA. Thank you for your care & advice. After various tests at Southport a TIA was diagnosed. Thank you for your excellent advice.

Went on Easter Saturday as I had started to feel rough on the Thursday before with a very sore throat. Arrived just after opening at 8am with about a dozen people before me, spoke to a lovely receptionist who took all my details then asked me to wait in waiting area. I was triaged within 20 minutes and then called to see the nurse practitioner about 30 minutes later who confirmed tonsillitis and sent a prescription to my local chemist. Excellent service by really caring staff. Never once did they make me feel as though I should not have been there. Very grateful to them for looking after me so quickly.

I went into the walk in centre today, really nice staff there, very friendly and very professional. Although they couldn’t help with my situation, the nurses did everything they possibly could for me, put me in the right direction and gave me really good advice.
