A charity that caters for the homeless. Serves an awesome continental breakfast to anyone who walks in for free. Amenities are also available for freshening up and Consultations to improve way of life. Situated in the upcoming suburbs of Whitechapel (see pics), it's a welcome sight for sore eyes.
No booking necessary, if you've had a rough night, just walk in.....

Perhaps the greatest direct impact charity service in the whole world. Nothing fancy, just an incredibly hard working core team (supported by daily volunteers) serving breakfast for those who really need it in East London.

Volunteering from 5:45am to 11am ish. Serving full English breakfast from 8am until 10am, with hot drinks from 7am.

They help so many people - both who they serve, and those who come to volunteer. So long as there are people sleeping rough in London, there will be no better support service than Whitechapel Mission.

Homeless charity serving up a free full English breakfast every single day of the year!

A completely unbias sanctuary, catering to all and anyone who is capable of walking through the doors.

Come early at 6:00am and get your name on the list for a free hot shower and free brand new full set of quality clothes and shoes.

Hot teas and coffees served from 6:00am until 10:00am close, with breakfast starting at 8:00am.
Bathrooms available with free toiletries on request.

Sit and enjoy a Netflix movie in the company of London's homeless patrons, meet and talk with others or sit quietly alone without harrasment.

This is a totally non-judgemental environment, and although the organisation has a strict and thoroughly enforced policy of absolutely no drugs or alcohol on site, and an immediate and permanent banning if caught... Just outside the doors you will see people bent over and slumped against the walls lining the streets, smoking crack pipes and drinking alcohol with the occasional argument or brawl breaking out, and police quickly arriving on scene.

This place and it's staff especially get a 10/10 from me!

I was lucky enough to bring in some donation today for Christmas and Tony was kind enough to give me a tour of their facility. He’s been there for 43 years and shared such a beautiful story as to what got him working with the shelter back then. I also previously chat with Sue who gave me excellent suggestions as to what to bring in today. Amazing people with such big hearts and one of the only shelters that are open during Christmas week. Bravo!
