The new hardstanding area for caravans is well draining and will be even better when it gets its top coat of tarmac. The sound reducing fencing between the site and the houses is coming along well. Nice friendly atmosphere in the social club.

Dave and his wife made every effort to make sure everyone had a great stay. Facilities are impeccable for a campsite. Grounds well maintained, showers fab and toilets kept clean. Been before but will definitely be back again

Quiet CS CCC site. Hardstanding. Secluded and sheltered area. Lovely owner and nice people in the club, and at the Bowling Green. The 2 showers are the temporary type but very good, and completely separate to the toilet area. Just 2 toilets in ladies, which are part of the club. Through the week, at the mo, there is building going on all around, and the piling process is very loud. Once this is complete, it should quiten down. CCC part of site is separate. Plenty of spaces for other mo-ho-ers. All that I met were really nice. The club is popular with locals too. Again, all I met were very nice. Very clean and a credit to the owners who really work hard. Site is close to the bus route. Shop in village is very basic but does have a post office incorporated. Will be returning when the opportunity arises. ?

Returned to Whittingham 3 weekends ago and last weekend. Great each time again. People are so nice. The bulk of the building work appears to have finished, so not much noise at all from the site. On our first return, there was a Kareoke and Disco in the function room, which was well attended. Not much disco, lots of people wanting to sing - it was really good. Food is served Friday and Saturday evenings, so we gave it a go. Basic menu, but quick service and the butter pies were lovely. We have now purchased a club membership, so simply must return to collect the membership card

Friendly club with great bowling green, cask ales and bookable facilities. Def recommend the camping with super helpful warden!

Very pleasant ,lots of open space to enjoy,
Bar food excellent, tiolets and showers spotless.
David the old boy who manages the site and his younger wife, always on hand to assist.
