This is such a wonderful place, truely at the heart of the community. They do so much! They have nursery sessions, sessions for teens and young people and sessions for older people too. Every day there's something different on. The day I was there they had poetry writing and reading and portrait painting. An amazing kitchen with a great chef serving brilliant food to people who really need it, they even deliver to local people in need! EVERYONE who works here should be proud of the work they are doing with such care and kindness and should be held up as an example for other community centres to follow.

We rented the lower floor here for my aunties 70th birthday party, and it was perfect. First floor easy access, toilet on same floor, plenty of floor space for dancing and tables. Neutral decor, and a lovely park right outside the building. I'd definitely recommend.

Such a lovely space. We held a children's party there and everything went smoothly with the hall, and Joanna and Martin were very friendly and helpful throughout.

Really friendly and helpful staff, lots of good activities through the week for all ages. Newly furbished airy Hall and rooms for hire. Cafe does lunches for over 55s.

Hidden gem of a place! Tranquil and lovely space with great café! Come and do Yoga every Saturday morning at 9am in the beautifully light and peaceful Upper Hocking Hall with YogaInSpiral.

Sally's cafe is beautiful and the food is delicious. I would go there every day if my work permitted it.
