I visited the centre requesting if I could book a date for my Fathers wake. The manager told me she’d check her diary tomorrow afternoon and get back to me. I fail to understand why she couldn’t check it then and there, but… That was 5 days ago and she still hasn’t responded.
In the meantime my sister also lodged a request on the website for the same event. She’s also not received a response.
I’ve since booked The Winning Post.
I understand if they don’t want to hold a wake but my Father often attended events at the hall, but if not interested, just say so. Terrible service to the community.

A very popular and vital link to residents and the wider communities of Richmond and Hounslow. On Fridays, this place is used as a food bank to a large vulnerable sector of the area.
There are very good links to public transport and though very busy at times, there are parking bays which also cater for blue badge users.

Not very easy to find- postcode takes you to the right place but the building is hidden from the road and not signposted. Small car park with a few free spaces if you're using the community centre. Bit old fashioned inside but function rooms are large.

Used for a birthday cream tea. Staff were very helpful and the caretaker was extremely helpful on the day. Not a lot of parking in the car park but there is parking on the road outside. A few different size rooms available.

It is a fantastic place. Well, run so much going on there now for the local community,
Zilla, the manager, is excellent, so willing to help others in our community.
