This thrift shop is fabulous. There are sales constantly. Wednesday is 55+ seniors 40% off. For regulars they give punch cards. Every $10 spent takes $100 to fill up a card. Then can use for 20% off a full purchase. The clothes are in great condition. There's a boutique section for higher end clothes. No designer brandes/names. There's a lot of kitchenware and appliances. Some linens. A few kid toys. All profits go to women & children rebuilding their lives from bad situations. So it's a win/win!

I love what they do, the bigger picture.
I appreciate them and having the opportunity to give women another chance.
They have amazing items, amazing prices and amazing sales.
I have donated here and will continue to do so and I have shopped here and will absolutely continue to do so!

Only downside is they don't have fitting rooms so you have to try things over your clothes.

I arrived at 3:45 with a bag of clothing that don’t fit me-some brand new with tags. The front of the store says to go to the back which I did and proceeded to knock on the door for over 15 min with no one opening. I called the store 3x to let them know that I was there but no one answered. I sent my friend to the front of the store to let someone know and she was told that they stopped taking donations at 4pm. Now mind you - this is now 4:05 and I’ve been knocking in the door for donations since 3:45.
A woman finally came out to the door I was at and she told me the same thing. Oh yea - and it was pouring rain. I exceptions even after I explained that no one answered the door for over 15 min.
I love WID and the work they do and being a survivor of abuse I am that much more inclined to donate to them. But this was horrible treatment and really not acceptable.

Warning!! Although this store receives beautiful donated items that are intended to be sold, to help raise money to shelter victims of domestic abuse, the “volunteers” have first dibs at donated items and many of the donations never make it out to the sales floor. This is unfortunate, I have witnessed it multiple times, but do not know who to speak to. I tried to purchase a Murano glass looking item today and when I asked the volunteer at the counter, she said something like “I’m taking that”. So I went to the woman that seems to be the manager (an older woman with dark curly hair and glasses) she said “let me check” . She walked over and after speaking to the first woman that I had asked, she came back to me and said the item couldn’t be sold. I asked why not and she would not give me an answer. I’ve seen other volunteers putting things aside for themselves on several separate occasions . This is not fair to the shoppers nor is it fair to the Women in Distress organization.

I was interested in trying different jeans but since 2020 their fitting rooms are closed. So I left. They are going to lose customers for that reason. That is all.

I have shopped at this store for several years. It benefits Women in Distress, which helps women who are victims of domestic violence. It carries a very large selection of women's clothes, both "regular" and a special "boutique" section. There are also men's and children's clothing sections. Great decor, lots of furniture, lots of books and shoes and a very nice jewelry selection. Prices are affordable and they have sales. I always find something. It us located in a small shopping center and has plenty of off-street parking. I recommend this store.
