Had an amazing full day on Lucy’s Forage & Fermenting workshop!
Learnt SO much, again!
The foraged food & drinks provided really added an important and exciting element to this great day, which focused on the importance of improving our gut health through wild foods.
Interesting, informative, tasty and great to connect with likeminded souls ?
Full PDF of the day provided, plus links to useful websites and recipes which is great to recap!
Thank you so much, can’t wait for the coastal forage!!
Two photos below of the amazing tasters, and two showing the start of bringing wild plants into my own garden sustainably - amongst a few others, I’m so pleased that I have burdock seeds and Victoria plums, gathered wild, autumn 2023, now sprouting!

I recently went to the winter solstice retreat, and wow, I’m so glad I did. If you’re looking for a place to belong in a community, to meet new people, to learn lots of valuable information or to just destress and reset with nature, Lucy holds space for it all. This was my first retreat but it will be the first of many. Such a fun and safe place to be part of and I’m so grateful to Lucy for how much love and attention to detail she puts into the retreats. I’ve already told 3 people about it because I think we all deserve to experience it! Thankyou again Lucy.

Had a lovely 2 hour introductory session to foraging with Lucy. We felt instantly welcomed into the small group and as absolute beginners were given some great tips on where to forage, how to identify plants and what to avoid! She explained how each plant could be used, what vitamins and minerals it contained and great recipe tips. We even made tea at the end using some of our foraged goodies. Also great value compared to some of the other sessions we looked at. Would absolutely recommend to anyone - thanks so much!

Had a brilliant couple of hours in Guisborough forest today with the lovely Lucy on an introduction to foraging class. Immensely knowledgable on the wild plants around us, Lucy explained how best to use them and their related benefits and recipes etc. I am very new to foraging and I found it really helpful and reassuring to find I had been identifying some common plants correctly and learning new ways to use them! In addition, learning about other new plants and their uses was just magical. Thank you so much! My journey begins

I loved my foraging walk with Lucy, it really built my confidence in identifying common plants. I came wanting to get more out of the wild areas of my allotment and I certainly got that. It was fantastic to learn all the different ways of preserving and preparing wild edibles. My husband and daughter loved the experience too. I think I will come again in a different season.
