We recently rehomed 2 kittens from Wood Green. Every person we interacted with was helpful, kind and supportive throughout the whole process.
The site itself is quiet, calm and well looked after.
We couldn't get the same booster locally for the kitten's vaccinations, so we we able to bring them back in (with a charge that was made clear to us before we even rehomed them) to have that done too.
As the kittens had been in a foster home first, we found them to be well adapted to being in a home and were even completely littler trained - an added bonus as they warned us beforehand that this might not always be the case as they were still young.

They took in my hamster babies and found them loving homes, which truly shows their dedication to helping animals in need. The staff is incredibly compassionate and goes above and beyond to ensure each pet finds a perfect match. The facility is clean and welcoming, and you can feel the love they have for the animals. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking to adopt a pet or support a great cause. Thank you for the fantastic work you do!

I have just adopted a 3 year old cat from Wood Green and I must say the staff are very friendly and helpful.

every cat would be happier within their forever home, of course. (That’s why they rehome them swiftly.)
I was impressed by the cats space, toys, food, climbing trees and cleanliness etc (I could go on) they have really got all they need just on small scale (but not at all cramped) with indoor /outdoor (albeit caged) access

What a wonderful job you all do! Thank you.

The cat that I now have had for 5 days took a little settling in first couple of days as he has a big personality and is extreemly fussy.
I’m sure he hated the noise, hours and lack of total freedom and he prefers to be around humans 24/7 he is curled up next to me in bed as I write this. (See photo)
I would imagine it’s quite traumatic for any animal to be given away and put in unfamiliar sounds and smells so not ideal etc but what’s the alternative! I can’t bear to think of my beautiful playful cuddly cat having to be euthanised and that’s why I’m so happy that Wood Green looked after him and his needs until I adopted him.

Wood Green facilities and staff do a grand job and I’m really grateful for that.

My cat is defiantly appreciating his new home and every day is much less jumpy, 2-3 weeks and he will be totally chilled out.
He is a gorgeous cat, full of love and kept alive and well by Wood Green staff. He had some medical issues which Wood Green vets treated and it seems to have cleared up for now.

Thank you!
P.S I’m happy to know people can’t visit the cats there, I just know it would have given my cat even more stress if they kept letting strangers walk In and out of his living space
They are thinking of the animals first and rightly so!
I was allowed to visit once I had decided to adopt.

We were really disappointed with our recent experience at Woodgreen Pets Charity in Godmanchester. After calling ahead, we brought items from our recently deceased dog, hoping they could help other dogs. Upon arrival, we were directed to drop them in a waste container next to bins marked with a 'no syringes' warning. This felt undignified and disrespectful, especially given how much we loved our dog and wanted his things to be of service to others now that he's passed. We had hoped for a more compassionate approach from a charity that supports pets and felt quite a disconnect between our experience today and how the charity is portrayed on TV.

Omg what can I say, this place and the people who dedicate there love to animals is amazing. I didn't realize it would be so big, we arrived late so didn't get time to look around but have already planned to come back. There are gift shops which have great items and help support the animals. My daughter donated a large amount of rat items and the staff were so incredibly thankful. To all the staff, you do an amazing job. Well done.

Contacted them re a Stray cat that had given birth to kittens in a bush behind my house four days ago. Today I have taken Mum Puss and 6 kittens to them. Be checked by vet this morning and off to foster home at 1pm! Very impressive care and service ?

I visited for advice about my pregnant cat, and the staff couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. It's a shame they don't have their cafe anymore, and it is no longer a place to visit unless you want a pet. Which is a shame as I used to love taking my children to see the animals.
