I visited as part of a group today. We enjoyed coffee and lunch in the pleasant cafe before going on a tour. The two ladies were very knowledgeable and we got the feeling that the horses here are well loved and looked after. Despite the rain it was a very enjoyable day

We received a very warm welcome upon arriving at the centre by the ladies on front desk and were given a brief tour on where to go… lots of horses who are cared for very well. Relaxing and enjoyable walk around the site, with a cafe that has a variety of refreshments. We will definitely visit again and support the work they do.

Booked in to look around with our two young children. Lovely building and obviously well kept horses. If only they treated their visitors in the same manner. Cafe staff were lovely but we were asked very abruptly by two different staff members to leave. They didn't even let us look at the items in the shop. Poor service

Very well kept and beautiful horses that seem very well cared for. However, we arrived at 3pm for a visit and walked around the "medium" walk.
On our way out a member of staff quite rudely told us the centre was closing now and to leave, which we quite obviously were. As we arrived at the exit we were met by a rude and aggressive woman who had greeted us on arrival. " I'm not happy, we closed 12 minutes ago, I don't want to have to walk around to find you in 25 acres" Very rude and unnecessarily aggressive, we were clearly leaving! Spoilt the visit.

we didn't see as many horses as we'd of liked too, however, majority of them were away as it was raining and cold which we didn't expect bad weather & a lot were new in isolation/rehabilitation. The receptionists were lovely, children under 5 go free, 2 adults only cost £6 which is great.
The cafe was lovely, Amazing coffee and cakes. We were allowed to have a peak at the horse performance arena even though it was shut, we got to see it. The pond/wildlife walk was lovely, very relaxing, and tranquil. I'd recommend here, a good day trip out if you love horses.

Great place to visit if you love horses. We had Coffee & Cake in the cafe. Visited all the horses, went for a lovely walk around the farm. I was able to watch some people having private lessons in the fabulous indoor arena. Amazing place and I can’t wait to visit again.

You can't not love these guys for rescuing horses. I'm not a fanatic horse lover, but i do like being around them and the calmness they bring to you. We went here and my horse loving girls loved seeing the horses that were being rescued and rehabilitated. The staff were super friendly and really helped us to learn about what Horse Welfare do. You can walk around certain parts of the farm, but all the horses were in the top paddocks that you can't access on the day we went. There is a cafe however just the basics on offer. There's a massive indoor arena and they had horses being trained which made my girls super happy to see. Don't expect to rock up and take a rescued pony/ horse home - most can never be ridden again but they make great additions to your family. There's a room downstairs that sells second hand horse gear, saddles, bridles, tacks, bits, lead ropes all at pretty damn good prices - i know because my girls bought heaps of horse things they needed. They rely heavily on donations so if you've got a spare fiver, maybe you could help feed a horse for a few days. Definitely worthy of a trip to see what they're doing, great for grandparents or people in wheelchairs. Rug up with winter woolies if you go on a winters day like we did
