We recently hired the Britannia room for my husband’s 70th Birthday party. Alan was brilliant to deal with and the room was absolutely perfect. We had 100 guests, and it was a great size room for the event, lighting in the evening was perfect, and easy for everyone to park. Would definitely use again.

A well-kept secret, I'm glad to have found this place. It's a member's club but members of CAMRA are allowed to drink in the bar too. Membership is only £13 for the year and for that you get access to a very nice bar which serves consistently excellent real ale. Worth a visit to see what it's about.

Went to this venue for a dance on Monday. Great dance floor, cheap bar, loads of free parking, no neighbours to complain about the noise! Ideal venue for a dance or social event
