Went here with my children for ju-jitsu. The people running the class were amazing. However the building was a let down. The flooring is an issue. Kids repeatedly getting splinters in their feet from the floor.

I enjoyed a really good time playing over 50's walking football, and looking forward to playing it again each week with a great group of men, whom were very welcoming and friendly towards me on my first time with them.
I was played at least four times both as an outside plater,and also in goal between 7 - 8pm, were we played a game then had a rest between each match, and enjoyed every one with loads of fun and great banter with all the men 🙂

Says not for profit organisation but hires no volunteers as a charity would and all staff are paid workers.Also horrible place to stay would rather be on streets than stay there again if I was homeless.

I'd would not recommended st helens ymca to anyone. They are ok with the residents and at that I mean just ok but they treat staff like rubbish the managements very very poor with no organisation what so ever if your face doesn't fit or sarah doesnt like you your screwed stay clear for your own sanity!
