It was a beautiful day. The sculptures are varied. I took my sister and her husband. They have lived nearby and never visited. They were both very impressed with it.
I trained there as a teacher from 1979 to 1983. I go on regular reunions every 2-3 years. Every time I go it evokes wonderful memories.
It's an excellent venue for all people of all ages.
It's well worth a visit.

Great place for a day out, easily a day. Over 100 sculptures, exhibitions, a lake and all dog friendly ( apart from one part that has livestock) even the cafe has dog friendly tables.
All the sculptures are on such a grand scale and it really suits the outdoor space. We loved it

Wow. We were so lucky with the weather on our January visit here! Also this place is HUGE! We saw just a small percentage of it but what a cool place to wander, all sorts of buildings and sculptures to admire, trees and lakes and paths all over. Lovely shop and cafe too. Will definitely have to come back multiple times to see everything!

Entry £9.50/adult under 18 free. Decent walk, great views. Cafe is nice, not cheapest but lemon drizzle cake worth the calories.

The artwork may not be for everyone but the grounds are wonderful, with a lovely lake to walk around as well as the various sculptures. My only real issue was the sheer amount of dog "leavings" thay inconsiderate owners had left behind on the footpaths...

Favourite place. Come here all the time and decided to become a friend with annual pass just recently. Wonderful trees. Sculptures that are like old friends like the Sophie Ryder hare. Long walks. Attractive cafes and interesting gift shops. Just wish that somebody would do something innovative and sympathetic with Bretton Hall and the old college buildings.

There are 3 brilliant exhibition spaces inside and multiple walks outside from gentle stroll around the lakes to vertiginous steps along the ridge. Every view is beautiful.
Very dog friendly and for the less mobile you can use their all terrain buggies!
The cafe is excellent and the main shopping space looks very festive.
You really need all day to see it all but as a regular visitor I’ve learnt to pace myself!
Lots of parking and so easy to get to from the M1 too.
