Ryfields Village - Warrington

I moved there a month ago. Reception staff and in house staff are friendly and very polite and professional. However, due being a retirement home, some residents who hasn't got anything else better to do, they like to moan about just anything. Overall, I love the place and since I moved there, my metal health got much better. Thank you Ryfields 😊

Bus stop outside
Landscape gardens
Loads of outdoor seating
Even has large pool with fish
Greenhouse

Could do with colourful communal areas otherwise...if your retirement is near give it a look

I would like to thank the staff /girls in the bistro/restaurant with their exceptional service and food they provided for dad's funeral and mum's memorial. Everyone commented on what they had done for us on the day, making it a day to remember. Thank you steph and staff for all your hard work we will always be grateful. X

My father in-law as been a resident since it opened. Nice place but seems to be getting a bit run down. He as been trying to get sky in his room but told no. The flats either side have got it so what's the deal.

I would absolutely recommend Ryfields Both my wife and I filled out an application form The staff are very friendly and helpful You have got all you need in One place like gym hair dressers bar ect We will feel very happy and secure in there also 24hr security cameras I wish we could have been in earlier but the main person has to be over 60

Moved the farther in law to Warrington, and he is loving the new place. He visited some time ago now and put in a bid for a flat.
Not seen him this happy for a long time. All the staff are brilliant, and the food in the restaurant is good quality but your not having to pay through the nose.

Absolutely shocking treatment of residents, my father who's 87 wth mobility problems has been verbally abused and ignored on several occasions by senior staff and management.. and don't try and get a reply from a complaint or concern because you'll wait a long time. My father fell last night and pressed his call buzzer... he's still waiting for a response 15 hours later!!! If I had the option to put zero stars I would.

I have begrudgingly left a whole star as I cannot post without, but there is nothing unique about this place. Facilities for the residents outside of their flats minimal to none. Some staff are kind but others are in desperate need of training, and during the current pandemic the residents were given a ONE minute phone call each week to check on their health and wellbeing. Those who were on their own without close family nearby had to rely on the families of those providing help and food. Their duty of care was not to be found.
